The funding from the National Lottery Community fund has enabled us to employ Rob Downes as our lead grower, who started last October. Rob comes with years of experience of growing fruit and vegetables organically, and has a first class honours degree (BSc) in Horticultural Plant Science (Plymouth University and the Eden Project). Even though we currently only have funds to employ Rob two days a week, he is already making a fantastic difference.
